Intercessory Prayer Meeting

The ministry was conceived through the promptings and Inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This was initially headed by the late Pastor Dodong Salve and was established on August 14, 1992. In 2005 the name of the ministry {OPM - OVERNIGHT PRAYER MEETING} was changed to {IPM - INTERCESSORY PRAYER MEETING} with the new meeting schedule of 7-9:30 PM every Friday to encourage God's People in the CHURCH to join this holy, laborious and joyful endeavor.

VISION
We believe that the one supreme test and ultimate worth of everything religious must be in the place where our Lord occupies it. The INTERCESSORY PRAYER MEETING envisions to inspire and awaken God's people to experience the EVERLASTING preoccupation with GOD through deep communion with Him in prayer.

MISSION

• To inspire, prepare, equip, encourage, and strengthen God's people for the SPIRITUAL BATTLE that we are facing everyday of our LIVES
• To disciple and teach God's people to trust, wait, obey, love, worship and enjoy Him every moment of their lives
• To help God's people to understand that our purpose here on earth is to become worshippers first and foremost and secondarily to serve as workers for HIS vineyard
• To be filled with excitement; be captivated, charmed and entranced with who God is, and be struck with his astonishing wonder and the splendor of His glorious might
• To love God with fear and enjoy His wonders forever
• To display the riches of the glory of God's grace (Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14)
• To display our dependence on God for everything, so that God alone gets all the glory. (Ps. 50:15; John 14:13)

• WE BELIEVE THAT GOD ANSWERS INDIVIDUAL PRAYERS AS WELL AS CORPORATE PRAYERS (ex: Apostles / early Christians)
• WE BELIEVE THAT SPIRITUAL LIFE, IS A LIFE OF CONTINUOUS WARFARE BETWEEN God's people and the ENEMY - the devil and his cohorts.
• WE BELIEVE THAT WE DO NOT WRESTLE against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
• WE BELIEVE THAT GOD IS MOST GLORIFIED IN US WHEN WE ARE MOST SATISFIED IN HIM.
